Joe has been in full-time ministry since 1984 when he began working with students as a Youth Pastor in New York City. He also served as a Youth Pastor in San Diego, California and in Arlington, Texas. He spent 17 years pouring his life into students, and still has a unique ability to connect with young people. 

 

Pastor Joe planted Crossroads of Arlington in Arlington, Texas and was the lead pastor of that church for 19 years. 

 

Pastor Joe has always been drawn to people who face tough challenges in life, as he has experienced the transforming power of Christ and seen how Christ can turn any person’s life into something beautiful when they give themselves fully to Christ.

 

Joe has been married to Toni Centineo since 1987. Some of her unique challenges have given Joe the opportunity to lay down his life for his wife. Joe and Toni have three children, Christopher (married to Kelsi, son, Judah), Brianna, and JoJo, as well as an adopted son and daughter, Emmanuel and Precious Rab-Quaye and two adopted granddaughters (Jessie and Mel Grace) from Ghana, Africa. 

 

Pastor Joe presently serves at Authentic City Church as Pastor of Shepherding and Counseling. The vast majority of his time is spent leading Square One Ministry.
